Snape looked down his hooked nose at the desk belonging to his Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. It was littered with piles of unsorted parchment, bits of odd rubbish, un-labeled phials, and books cast randomly about. Harry straightened his tie, as if to indicate that wearing one on a Saturday should in some way pardon his mess.
“It’s perfectly functional, and I’ll thank you not to interfere.”
“You call this… functional?” sneered Snape, picking up two scrolls stuck together by a sticky brown subst
